The Rahway Police Department has once again joined forces with RSI Bank in an effort to increase community safety. RSI Bank has generously donated $10,000 to the Rahway Police Department as part of their on-going effort to support the police department and the citizens of Rahway. The donation will be utilized to fund and enhance the department’s disaster preparedness capabilities. The Rahway Police Department is committed to providing top quality services to the citizens of Rahway. During the past year, the police department has increased communication abilities by utilizing various social media sites, adding a state of the art digital messaging board, and a new AM Radio station that will help expand communications during times of emergency. These resources will supplement the Nixle and Union County First Alert systems, which uses cell phone and email notifications to keep residents informed. Additionally, we are working diligently to enhance the police department’s website, so that citizens can easily access information from the comfort of their own homes. It is with the constant support and generosity of local businesses such as RSI Bank that we are able to continuously meet the needs of our community. The Rahway Police Department would like to thank RSI Bank for their unending generosity and support.
