The Juvenile Bureau:

  • Investigates crimes committed by juveniles.
  • Provides counseling to juveniles and their families as a means of intervention before undesirable conduct escalates.
  • Prepares juvenile cases for court.
  • Works closely with Project Access, the Division of Youth and Family Services, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Juvenile Division.
  • Works in concert with the administration and faculty of the schools to address student conduct and problems in the school buildings.
